for faget vert endra igjen.
sentrale i denne avhandlinga.
arbeidet over i ein ny dimensjon.
krevjande og ein del kunnskap bør kanskje vere etablert før ein byrjar for å få eit godt
utbytte av prosessen.
ABSTRACT:
Arts and Crafts is a very nuanced subject that has developed a lot through the years.
Even today there are big changes in motion, new curriculums are in process and the
focus of the subjects are changing. The new curriculums focuses on planning for the
future, the unforeseen and new ways of thinking (Kunnskapsdepartementet 2015-16).
This means that the Arts and crafts subject also have to follow these terms. Digital
tools, creativity and in depth learning are some of the elements that are coming into
focus and are key points in this theses. I will therefore, through my own creative
process, find new ways of working with digital tools in arts and crafts and talk about
how this is important. My topic question in this theses is: “How can photographic
material from the wildwood be the basis of wonder and exploration in a creative
process?” and “which parts of the arts and crafts subject can prepare students for the
unforeseen future?”.
The goal of my practical and explorative process was to find a selection of ways to use
digital tools, as for example Photoshop and a projector to make an interactive and
inspiring work method. To obtain this I have been through a step by step process where
every faze have been important for the next one, and has helped with developing the
theme and the focus. The focus of this project has been on making an atmosphere by the
help of light, colors, contrasts and textural effects. Trough acquiring and editing my
own photo material from the wildwood outside of Notodden, my goal was to make a
foundation for creative thinking and idea development. In addition to wanting to
develop my own practical skills, I also wanted to find out how the different skills you
develop through this kind of work can prepare students for the future. I have explored
this through analysis of how different terms, for example creativity, in depth learning,
idea development and practical work are essential for the future and how schools relate
to these. Through a creative process where I followed my own impulses and found
inspiration from both well known and unknown artists, the process developed a lot and
the end result was something completely different than if I had worked more rigidly. In
addition to this the experimental way of working shows how good idea developing can
bring new and exciting aspects to your project and transfer it into another dimension.
This theses focuses on children in 8-10th grade since a lot of the work demands a
certain level of practical skills, so they get the best benefits from this process.
