D unit is a sanitary infrastructure released by JetsTM in 2022. The aim of this thesis is to look at the feasibility of data logging from a mobile site of the NOMAD unit to a cloud platform or external location. This thesis is the preliminary work for looking at what possibilities there are in the world today and starts by looking at existing hardware, software, data platforms, and cybersecurity. Got the RevPi setup and successfully communicated with the PLC. In the backend solution, the RevPi succeeded in communicating with the PLC system and got a database setup. In the front-end solution, it managed to connect the GUI and the SQL database, which is at the backend. In addition, it was used integrated solutions in a cloud platform on Azure. Cybersecurity needs to be taken into consideration in any future solution. The solution is technically viable. However, more work is needed to be taken out to ensure cybersecurity. Further, there is a need to discover if it is an option to take it further for JetsTM on an economical and practical level.
