dc.description.abstract | This research explores the potential economic benefits that tourism can bring to communities while also highlighting the challenges it poses to ensuring sustainable and equitable growth. The study focuses specifically on sustainable tourism in Chiang Mai and how this popular destination is dealing with the challenges of managing its booming tourism sector while also addressing the need for sustainable practices. The study uses a qualitative research approach and recommends adopting sustainable practices that balance economic growth with cultural preservation and environmental protection. However, implementing sustainable tourism in Chiang Mai is a significant challenge that requires achieving a balance between the interests of all stakeholders. This requires a collaborative approach that involves all stakeholders in the decision-making process. | |
