| dc.description.abstract | This thesis aims to answer the following research questions: RQ 1: What are the opportunities and threats for the Norwegian maritime industry in relation to development of the Northern Sea Route? RQ 2: Which resources will the Norwegian maritime industry need to take advantage of in order to take advantage of/avoid these opportunities and threats?
Through literature review and interviews with five representatives of the Norwegian maritime industry, the dynamics, the infrastructure needs of the NSR, the shipping market opportunities of the route, the interest in the development of the route, and Norway’s resources were discussed. | |
