Abstract

This thesis investigates the cognitive cost of cybersecurity, an increasingly expanding issue in the modern digital landscape, through the lens of end-users. Employing a mixed-methods approach comprising online surveys and structured interviews, the research provides a comprehensive perspective on the factors contributing to cognitive costs and proposes strategies to mitigate them.
