Key Factors and Challenges in Cloud Adoption: A Case Study of Kartverket

Abstract

A thorough analysis of Kartvetket organization for adopting cloud helped me to find the factors and issues affecting the adoption of cloud technology. Moreover, the interplay between factors and issues underscores the nature of challenges and complexities inherent in managing geospatial data and ensuring national security in this rapidly evolving digital landscape. A qualitative approach is used with semi-structured interviews taken from Kartverket employees to meet the objective of my study. Overall, my research is not only enlightening cloud adoption for Kartverket, but also gives valuable insight for all other organizations that have the same types of data and who is going on to the same phase as Kartverket.
