Likestilt arbeidsliv- kritisk diskursanalyse

Abstract

Formålet med min masteroppgave er å identifisere hvilke diskurser Funksjonshemmedes Fellesorganisasjon fremmer for mennesker med funksjonsnedsettelser og deltagelse i arbeidsliv.

Mennesker med funksjonsnedsettelser er en marginalisert gruppe som opplever barrierer og utfordringer både i samfunnsliv og arbeidsliv. Både nåværende og tidligere regjeringer har hatt dette temaet med i handlings- og strategiplaner, NOU og stortingsmeldinger.

Jeg benytter Funksjonshemmedes Fellesorganisasjon politiske notat «Et likestilt arbeidsliv for personer med funksjonsnedsettelse» som viser til barrierer og løsninger, samt deres høringssvar NOU 2021:9 Den norske modellen og fremtidens arbeidsliv- utredninger om tilknytningsformer og virksomheter, NOU 2019:7 Arbeid og inntektssikring og NOU 2021:2 Kompetanse, aktivitet og inntektssikring som datamateriale.

Følgende problemstilling belyses i oppgaven:

«Hvilke diskurser om funksjonshemming og deltagelse i arbeidsliv fremmer Funksjonshemmedes Fellesorganisasjon?»

Jeg benytter kritisk diskursanalyse gjennom bruk av Faircloughs tredimensjonale modell der jeg analyserer datamaterialet.

Gjennom analysen har jeg funnet tre diskurser, rettighetsdiskurs, likestillingsdiskurs og relasjons- og universell-diskurs. De tre diskursene har likhetstrekk, men retter ulike perspektiver knyttet til deltagelse i arbeidsliv. Jeg vil belyse dette i kapittelet diskusjon og også rette søkelys på karriereveiledningsfeltet mot mennesker med funksjonsnedsettelse.

The purpose of my master's thesis is to identify which discourses The Norwegian Federation of Organisations of Disabled People promotes for people with disabilities and participation in working life.

People with disabilities are a marginalised group who experience barriers and challenges in both society and working life. Both current and previous governments have included this topic in action and strategy plans, NOU, and parliamentary notice.

I use the Norwegian Federation of Organisations of Disabled People political note "An equal working life for persons with disabilities", which refers to barriers and solutions, as well as their consultation responses NOU 2021:9 The Norwegian model and future working life reports on forms of affiliation and enterprises, NOU 2019:7 Labour and income security and NOU 2021:2 Competence, activity, and income security as data material.

The following research question is highlighted in the thesis:

"What discourses on disability and participation in working life promote the Norwegian Association of Disabled People?"

I use critical discourse analysis by Fairclough's three-dimensional model where I analyze the data material.

Through my analysis, I have found three discourses, rights discourse, equality discourse, and relational and universal discourse. The three discourses have similarities, but direct different perspectives related to participation in working life. I will shed light on this in the chapter discussion and focus on the career guidance field towards people with disabilities.
