| dc.description.abstract | SAMANDRAG: Målet med denne studien har vore å lyfte til overflata og undersøke bruk av musikk som pedagogisk hjelpemiddel i friluftsliv. Då med siktemål å undersøke musikkens potensial til å stadfeste, forsterke og uttrykke opplevinga av møtet med naturen og den sosiale fellesskapen i friluftslivet og dessutan å lyfte til overflata pedagogiske utfordringar knytte til dette arbeidet. Studien må forståast som eit bidrag til arbeidet med å utvikle innsikt i og forståing for temaområdet. Eg har lagt følgjande problemstilling til grunn for prosjektet mitt: Korleis kan ein som pedagog arbeide med musikk i friluftslivet når målsetjinga er å styrke opplevinga vår av møtet med naturen og å bygge menneskelege relasjonar? Denne problemstillinga gjorde det naturleg å undersøke musikk i konkret praktisk-pedagogisk arbeid i friluftslivet. Eg utvikla derfor sjølv eit musisk opplegg og drog ut på to femdagars kanoturar som friluftslivsvegleiar. Undervegs på turane nytta eg musikkopplegget saman med gruppene, og eg ville undersøke om musikken kunne stadfeste, forsterke og uttrykke opplevingane vi hadde av møtet med naturen, og om dette vidare ville styrke dei sosiale banda mellom oss. Deltakande observasjon, seks kvalitative intervju og spørjeskjema har utgjort empirien min. Teoribruken i avhandlinga er tentativ. Det betyr at eg prøver ut kor gode teoriane og perspektiva er til å setje lys på temaområdet mitt. Vidare nærmar eg meg temaområdet praktisk-metodisk, der eg ser teorien saman med empirien min for å sjå om dette kan fortelje oss noko verdifullt om korleis ein kan bruke musikk i friluftsliv på ein god måte. I analysen tener teoriane og empirien til å støtte under refleksjonane og drøftingane mine på vegen mot innsikter i og forståingar for kva som rører seg innan temaområdet. ABSTRACT: The focal area for this study has been to explore pedagogical use of music in outdoor life. In the study I explore the potential in music to confirm, enrich and express our experiences with nature, and also its potential to strengthen social fellowship in outdoor life. In addition to this my study also brings to surface pedagogical challenges related to this kind of work, and must be understood as a contribute to the task of developing an understanding of this theme. The approach of the focal area has been done according to the following problem for discussion: How can one, as an educator, work with music in outdoor life with the main purpose to enrich our experience with nature and to strengthen human relations? As an educator in outdoor life, I carried through two five-day trips with student groups, and used music in campfire gatherings. I wanted to explore if the music was able to enrich our experiences with nature and strengthen the social fellowship. The empirical data of this study is based on participant observation throughout the musical campfire gatherings and the trips in general, as well as six cognitive interviews and questionnaires. My approach to the theory I have used, has been tentative, meaning that I have tried out the chosen theories and perspectives to see how well they shed light on the theme area. Furthermore, my approach to the theme area have been practical methodical, where I have analyzed the theory and the empirical data together to see if they reveal something valuable that can positively influence the use of music in outdoor life. In my analysis theories and empirical data have served to substantiate my discussions and reflections, on the way towards developing an understanding for and insight into the theme area. | |
